Summary
"Joseph Andrew Taukondyo (Zebedee) left South West Africa (now Namibia) on foot crossing the border into Bechuanaland (now Botswana) in 1964 as a teenager of 15 to join the liberation struggle of his mother land. He never thought about the risks involved in what he was doing. Zebedee did not tell anybody where he was going and if he would ever return. After about 21 years in exile he eventually returned to an independent Namibia as a grown up man. The village in which he grew up still retained many of its traditional practices, however."--Page 4 of cover.
