Summary
At an airfield on the Pacific Ocean, the girls from the local girls' school act as the repair crew. Aoki Hide is engaged to a young man in the neighborhood, but finds it hard to leave the repair crew. When her fiancé's younger sister, Junko, returns to her home after sending her husband off to the war, she offers to join the repair crew once again, in Hide's place.
