Le convenienze teatrali (The usages of the stage), a comic opera in 1 act, premiered in Naples on Nov. 21, 1827. This was revised by the composer into 2 acts for production in Milan, and retitled Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali; this premiered Apr. 20, 1831; it has subsequently appeared in other productions in translation, and has been variously re-titled, including as "Viva la mamma".
