Disc 2: You speak of Prague: The second trial of Artur London (a twenty-one minute on-set documentary by Chris Marker, aired on French television March 5, 1970); Costa-Gavras at the Midnight Sun Film Festival (conversation between the director and film scholar Peter von Bagh recorded at the 1998 Midnight Sun Film Festival in Sodankylä, Finland); Portrait London (a 1981 interview with Artur and Lise London, originally broadcast on French television on January 21, 1981); Yves Montand (7 minute interview with the actor on the making of the film and how he prepared for the role, aired on French television on May 10, 1970); Françoise Bonnot (17 minute interview with the film's editor on working with the director); John Michalczyk (7 minute interview with the author of Costa-Gavras: The Political Fiction Film). Summary
Based on a harrowing true story, the film presents the history of an influential Czechoslovak dignitary who, in the early fifties, was abducted, imprisoned, and interrogated by fellow members of his country's Communist ruling party, their intentions vague, their methods terrifying.
