Summary
Printed invoice, completed in manuscript in an unidentified hand and signed by E. B. Woolley and Amador County, California justice of the peace John Doble. Invoice describes Woolley & Patterson transporting an African-American man named “Kenady” (likely Kennedy) from Volcano, California to a hospital in Jackson, California for medical treatment. Manuscript notations by Thomas M. Pawling, county clerk, indicate that Amador County paid Woolley & Patterson $8.
