Summary
Manuscript, on paper, in a single cursive hand, incomplete, containing copies of seven alchemical texts. 1) Antonius de Abbatia, "Incipit epistola prima...de transmutatione metallorum;" 2) Ramon Llull, "Tractatus de lapide philosophico;" 3) "Incipit liber fenicis," anonymous text concerning the transmutation of metals into gold; 4) anonymous text, in Italian, on the art of transmutation and on the "seconda quinta essentia;" 5) Ramon Llull, "Epistola Raymondi Lullii de accurtatione lapidis philosoforum," which contains a small illustration of distilling equipment; 6) Arnaldus of Villanova, "Incipit roseta nonella magister Arnald' d' villa nova;" 7) Ramon Llull, "Liber lucis mercuriorum: de compositione celestis," including an illustration of a distilling pot, alchemical recipes, and an alphabetical table of alchemical symbols. Several leaves missing from the end of this text.
