Summary
Nationwide support for the South Korean people's struggle -- Returned overseas Chinese work on the land -- Steel poured one year ahead of plan in Paotow -- Novel poultry feeding method -- New housing rises on old ground. Mass demonstrations in various Chinese cities against US involvement in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and the Philippines. Chinese workers who have been living overseas go to work in the fields of Hainan Island where they are shown the harvesting of coffee and other crops, plus dancing with joy. A steel plant in Inner Mongolia is in action a year ahead of schedule, and efficient and automated feeding, egg collecting and cleaning methods are introduced on a chicken farm. New housing units are built and services such as shops and schools are provided for the new communities.
