Summary
Film celebrating China's 10th anniversary with highlights of the country's industrial progress since 1949. The film shows the technological developments in many of China's industries, including metallurgy, shipbuilding, printing, textiles, automobiles, aircraft, and agriculture and farming. Scenes from the celebration at the Great Hall of the People shows delegates from various communist nations arriving, with some giving speeches. The final third of the film shows scenes from the parade held to celebrate China's industrial, military and cultural power and success.
