Summary
Documentary following the progress of the Soviet Union’s Seven Year Plan. This film uses statistics and footage shot on location to detail changes in the living, working and dietary conditions of the Soviet people. Opening with the construction of modern homes and silos, this documentary focuses primarily on the successes of collective farms, from livestock to crops and dairy farming. Key scenes include tractors, crop spraying and textile workers. Also featuring footage of Khrushchev awarding agriculture medals.
