Summary
A nugget from the BBC archives. Recorded in 1971, Domingo was 30 years old; he had just reached his peak and was in truly magnificent voice for this program, part performance, part documentary. The film shows Domingo in some of his favorite roles, singing solo and duets with Teresa Stratas, with different studio settings for each. There is also a splendid interview with Bernard Levin (Domingo was still very keen on his football), and the famous tenor is also seen playing with his young family.
