Summary
This data collection covers all census tracts and all minor civil divisions (MCD) or census county divisions (CCD) in the United States. All persons in the country were included in the file, which has counts for total population, population in group quarters, number of total housing units, and number of occupied housing units. There are 83,672 records in the file, one for each geographic unit, and each record is arranged in a sort sequence of record type, state, county and then MCD/CCD or tract.Cf: http://doi.org/10.3886/ICPSR07970.v1
