Summary
A collection of documentary films by the British film director Humphrey Jennings. Topics include the history of the song Lili Marlene, Britain's anti-missile defense, a performance of Beethoven's sonata in F minor (op. 57), a film essay on the status of Great Britain as seen through the life of a newborn baby, German conditions immediately after the war, the remaking of the British coal industry, and two ruminations on the bright future of Great Britain.
