Shankland in Ellicottville, New York, concerning a delay in the census, 1848 September 21 and 25; and 1 autograph letter, signed, from O. Stiles in Irving to Shankland seeking advice on Shankland’s successor as United States Agent of Indian Affairs, 1848 December 4.
