Summary
Documents the life of Ota Benga, a Congolese pygmy who was taken from Africa and brought to Saint Louis, Missouri for display at the 1904 World's Fair as evidence of an inferior species. He was then taken to New York City for display at the Bronx Zoo where he was housed with primates as the missing link between humans and apes.
