Summary
Young Welsh soprano Rebecca Evans hosts her own series of popular operatic arias and show songs. Joining her is a host of celebrities from the world of music. She begins this programme with Oh! quante volte from I Capuleti et I Montecchi by Bellini; John Harle plays his Night flight and then Stanley Myer's Cavatina, the theme from the film The Deer Hunter. Next, L'Alligator, from Chantefleurs et Chantefables by Witold Lutoslawski; Fêtes, from Debussy's Nocturnes. Cellist Julian Lloyd-Webber plays the 1st movement from Elgar's Cello Concerto. To conclude, Rebecca Evans sings Oh, war'ich schon from Beethoven's Fidelio.
