Summary
The Healthy Living Approach in the Battle Against Diabetes provides an overview of several of the health risks associated with obesity, including but not restricted to diabetes and high blood pressure. The video looks at how obesity and diabetes rates can be lowered. In that context, the video explores the success experienced by the Great Rivers Health System's Living Clinic and Dr. AbouAssaly - an effort that resulted from combining nutrition, exercise, and education into a program that targeted both health conditions.
