On folio 1a: "Hādhihi qaṣidat al-Hamzīyah lil-ʻārif al-muḥaqqiq Muḥammad al-Abūṣīrī, raḥima Allāh dawḥahu wa-nawwara ṣarḥahu. Āmīn. M."
على وجه الورقة 1: "هذه قصدة الهمزية للعارف المحقق محمد الأبوصيري، رحم الله دوحه ونوّر صرحه. آمين. م."
On folio 1a: A panegyrical poem, in eleven verses, praising the Prophet Muḥammad, by an anonymous author. It starts with: "Li-baʻḍihim. Aqrabu al-nāsi manzilan wa-maḥallan // min ḥabīb al-qulūbi Yawma al-Qiyāmah ..." And ends with: "... Wa-waṣaltum fa-ballighūhu salāmī // ayyada Allāhu rakbakum bi-al-salāmah."
على وجه الورقة 1: قصيدة، من أحد عشر بيتًا، في مدح النبي محمد، لمجهول. تبدأ بـ‍‍ِ: "لبعضهم. أقرب الناس منزلًا ومحلًا // من حبيب القلوب يوم القيمة [القيامة] ..." وتنتهي بـ‍‍ِ: "... ووصلتم فبلغوه سلامي // أيّد الله ركبكم بالسلامة."
"al-Hamzīyah" of al-Būṣīrī starts with: Kayfa tarqá ruqīyaka al-anbiyāʼu // yā samāʼan mā ṭāwalathā samāʼu. It ends with: Mā aqāma al-ṣalāta man ʻabada Allāha wa-qāmat bi-Rabbihā al-ashyāʼu.
تبدأ "همزية" البوصيري بـِ: كيف ترقى رقيّك الأنبياء // يا سماءً ما طاولتها سماء. وتنتهي بـِ: ما أقام الصلاة من عبد الله وقامت بربّها الأشياء.
Colophon: "Tammat bi-ḥamd Allāh wa-ʻawnihi wa-ḥusn tawfīqihi. Āmīn."

"al-Hamzīyah fī madḥ Khayr al-Barīyah", a panegyrical poem, called "al-Hamzīyah" after its "qāfiyah" (rhyme) which ends with the Arabic letter "Hamzah", in praise of the Prophet Muḥammad, by al-Būṣīrī (Abū ʻAbd Allāh Sharaf al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Saʻīd, 1213?-1296?), a well-known Egyptian poet of Maghribī descent, born in Bahshīm (Egypt), in the region of Bahnasāwīyah, and died in Alexandria (Egypt). Name of copyist and place and date of copying not mentioned, probably from the 18th century.
