Summary
In this BBC production of Charles Dicken's novel, Tale of Two Cities , Part 3 covers Book 2, Chapters 7 - 12, in which we learn of the Marquis St.Evrémonde's contempt for the people when he runs over a peasant child. Darnay renounces his family ties, and the Marquis is killed by the child's father. In England, Mr. Stryver considers marrying Lucie Manette, despite her lack of wealth, but is dissuaded by Mr. Lorry. Meanwhile, Darnay's announcement of his intentions toward Lucie are welcomed by her father, but appear to trouble him, nonetheless. A BBC Production.
