Summary
This program investigates several Mediterranean countries where water shortages are still an issue. From the City of Gaza,one of the last places in the region without access to clean drinking water, to Israel, which has invested heavily in desalination plants due to its limited access to water, we explore how water can be a major geopolitical asset for peace. Traveling to Spain and France, we learn about technology and infrastructure for sustainable development of water as well as how to protect and better use the natural resources of our planet.
