Summary
Everyone in Chipping Cleghorn is intrigued by the advertisement predicting a murder at Little Paddocks. But when the lights go out at the appointed hour and three gunshots ring out, no one thinks it's a game anymore. By chance, Miss Marple is staying nearby and is soon on the trail of the killer.
