Summary
Circa 80 printed advertisements, fliers, newsletters, and other ephemera created by gay and lesbian organizations, 1984-1997 and undated. Most relate to events in New York City, including the New York International Festival of Lesbian and Gay Film, 1992; the Gay Games, 1994; and theater productions and social events. Other events in New York City and Washington, D.C. include commemorations of the 1969 Stonewall Riots, 1994, and celebrations of National Coming Out Day and Gay Pride Day. Also present are announcements relating to the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (U.S.); advertisments for merchandise with gay rights logos and slogans; and fliers about political and legal issues, including job security of gay and lesbian teachers in New York City schools.
