Summary
This collection features material relating to the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition which was held in San Francisco in order to celebrate the completion of the Panama Canal and the city's recovery from the devastating earthquake of 1906. The material primarily documents the organisation and planning of the fair and includes official records, correspondence and diaries from members of the fair Commission, scrapbooks, architectural and promotional sketches, and photographs of the fair site during and after construction.
