Beatrice Schenk de Regniers (1914-2000) was an American author known for juvenile picture books.
Summary
Illustrations created by Brinton Turkle, approximately 1965, for Beatrice Schenk de Regniers, How Joe the Bear and Sam the Mouse Got Together (New York: Parents Magazine Press, 1965) that include the book cover, title page, and four double-page illustrations with text overlays. The drawings illustrate a story about a bear and a mouse who recognize and accept each other's differences and find common ground. Overlays accompany the title page for variant text used for library editions of the work. The collection lacks most of the drawings for the work.
