Summary
Kabuki actor Tamasaburo Bando choreographs a dance to Bach's 5th suite for unaccompanied cello. Shows discussions between Bando and cellist Yo-Yo Ma, rehearsals, and the final performance by Ma and Bando. One of a series of films presenting Ma's collaborations with artists from different disciplines, using Bach suites as starting points for new works in those artists' mediums.
