Summary
Academic administrator and law professor Vernellia Ruth Randall was born March 6, 1948, in Gladewater, Texas. She graduated from Carver High School in Amarillo in 1966. She earned her B.S. degree from the University of Texas School of Nursing in 1971 and obtained her M.S. degree in nursing from the University of Washington in 1978. In 1987, Randall received her J.D. degree from Northwestern School of Law, Lewis and Clark College in Portland. Randall worked as a nurse coordinator for the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services from 1979 to 1984. She was a professor of nursing and community health at Oregon Health Sciences University and Wright State University respectively, as well as a law professor at Northwestern School of Law. In 1994, Randall was an associate law professor at the University of Dayton School of Law before becoming a full professor. Randall also became an accomplished webmaster.
