Circular from the Republican State Central Committee published as part of the Republican presidential campaign in 1860 that promotes the establishment of the Wide Awake clubs, Republican Party para-military organizations supporting the presidency of Abraham Lincoln, and lectures by Amasa McCoy based on his "A plea for politics and political clubs." Contains resolutions made at a meeting in Albany on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 1860 that are signed: Simeon Draper, Chairman, and James Terwilliger, Secry. Fifteen members fof the Central Committee are listed below the resolutions, and letters and articles exerpted from newspapers are the reminder of the circular.
