Methuselah Baldwin (-1847) was a Reverend in Orange County, New York.
Summary
Manuscript legal document, in an unidentified hand, emancipating two enslaved girls and their mother from Methuselah Baldwin. Document states that the daughters, ages three and one, will be free at age twenty-one; and their mother, who was purchased from Josiah Vail, will be emancipated after paying Baldwin principal and interest. The document also states that Baldwin was the father of the two girls.
