Summary
Small scarce by conceptual artist and photographer Lucía von Sprecher (Córdoba, Argentina 1991), is the photobook that initiates the Collection Fotolibros, a new editorial project of ArtexArte lead by Juan Manuel Fiuza. The book brings together actions, photographs and collages made in recent years. Insisting on repetition and reproduction, wounds of images, technical failures, shadows, photocopier's footprint on material and fractured temporalities, Lucia manifests her ideas about body, art and existence. Photographs, installations, sculptures, audios and small actions and video performances build the images that make up this photobook, where we can appreciate the interest of the artist in the austere encounter between the image and the word, as if one auxiliary to the other, took her out of rest. Lucia is interested in altering the photographic record. Damage the image. Subtract it, dig into your bones.
