Thomas Villiers (1709-1786), Earl of Clarendon, was a British politician and diplomat.
Summary
Seven manuscripts, in an unidentified hand, of unpublished works by Thomas Villiers, Earl of Clarendon. Works are titled: Some Opinions, Perhaps Errors, of a Warm Friend to Mr. Grenville 1761; A Sketch of a Plan for the Education of a Prince of Wales, circa 1762; From Lord Clarendon to Lady Egremont, 1766; Hints to Opposition with Opinion on the State of America, circa 1769-1770; Humble Opinions, Offered to the King Thro' Mr H., 1769; A Letter from Lord Hyde to Lord Viscount Howe, 1770; and A Letter from the Earl of Clarendon to the Earl of Westmorland, 1778.
