Summary
Twenty four vignettes illustrating proverbs written by Benjamin Franklin in Poor Richard's almanack. Between the vingettes are decorations with oak leaves and acorns. At center is a bust length portrait (11.0 x 9.5 cm) of Benjamin Franklin with his birth and death dates surrounding the portrait: B. Franklin, L.L.D. and F.R.S. Born Boston, Jany. 17th, 1706. Died at Philada. Aprl. 17th, 1790.
