Biographical / Historical Note
Aaron Burr (1716-1757) (Yale 1735) served as minister of the Presbyterian Church of Newark in Newark, New Jersey, from 1736 to 1755. He was among the founders of the College of New Jersey (now Princeton University) in 1746 and served as its president from 1748 until his death in 1757.
