Bound volume containing six Spanish manuscripts. Included are: Don Fernando de Castro’s memorial on the regulation and protection of Spain’s silver fleet, 1630 April 26; de Castro’s memorial regarding the manner in which galleons and fleets are to make the voyage from the Indies, 1630 April 26; Juan de Castro y Castilla’s report to King Philip IV on the expedition of a small fleet which was to go to Lisbon, Portugal, 1630 September 10; and de Castro y Castilla’s report to the King on the expedition of eight vessels destined for Lisbon, 1630 September 10.
Also included are a letter, signed, from J. de Hada to B. de Robles, 1636, and letter, signed, from F. Lopez de Carav to “Sr. Presidente,” 1630.
