Collection of manuscript cookbooks and recipes created and shared by members of the Landor and Lyttelton families. Includes a cookbook containing culinary, medicinal, and domestic recipes, with index, signed by Leonora Lyttelton on upper front pastedown; a notebook titled "An Index for Finding Out Alphabitically the Following Receipts & How They are Made"; a notebook containing culinary recipes and four leaves discussing arithmetic; a cookbook containing approximately 130 recipes, includes an engraving depicting a theatrical performance with the caption "The Theatrical Oglers"; and a cookbook containing approximately 130 culinary and medicinal recipe signed "C. Landor" on the verso of the upper front free endpaper. Also includes 235 unbound leaves containing manuscript recipes that are primarily addressed to Miss Ellen Landor.
