Summary
Collection consists of 20 autograph letters, three typescript letters, and 2 manuscript postcards, signed, from Ezra Pound to Michael Lekakis. The letters were written while Pound was residing at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, D.C. Includes three autograph letters, signed, from Dorothy Pound to Lekakis; two autograph notes, signed, from Mary de Rachewiltz to Lekakis; and one typescript letter, signed, from James Johnson Sweeney to Pound. Also includes two autograph letters from Pound to René Taupin; a typescript draft of "Canto LXXVI", with manuscript annotations in an unidentified hand; and copies of typescript letters, some signed, relating to D. D. Paige publishing his book, the Letters of Ezra Pound, with Harcourt Brace & Company.
