Manuscript on parchment of Theodoric of Borgognoni's Mulomedicina, a compilation of Greek and Latin authorities on horses and horse care. Comprised of three parts, the text first discusses general hippology, that is, the raising, training and aesthetic characteristics of horses; the second part and first chapters of the third deal with the treatment of various pathologies, with a particular focus on the eyes; the final sections of the third part deal with the bad behaviour of horses.
