Summary
This documentary was a key piece to achieve the declaration of Potosí as a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Potosí, formerly known as the Villa Imperial de Potosí, is a city in southern Bolivia and capital of the Department of the same name. The city is at the foot of the legendary hill called Sumaj Orcko (in Quechua 'Cerro Rico'), which was the largest silver mine in the world from the mid-16th to the mid-17th century. -- Digitalia Film Library website
