Collection of papers relating to industry and government in Connecticut. Includes a list of newspapers printed in the state; a list of mulberry orchards in the state; a document containing information about taxes in Tolland County; a petition from the town of Mansfield asking for sewing supplies to use for silk production; two tables listing taxes from several counties that were returned to the Connecticut General Assembly; and an autograph manuscript letter, signed, from Jedediah Huntington to J. Hector St. John de Crèvecœur discussing fishing in New London. Also includes two documents describing a mill invented by John Kelsey called “Mola Kelsyana”; and a color drawing depicting the mill.
