Summary
The exhibition "My stones: Sergio Camargo" presented by the Instituto de Arte Contemporânea brings to the public a selection of photographic images, studies on paper (drawings) and plasters (sculptures), in addition to newspaper clippings that present the artist Sergio Camargo in his studios. Throughout his life, Camargo had workshops in Rio de Janeiro, Paris and in Massa in Italy, cities where he lived. His workshops housed his "stones", his research, and conceptual and pragmatic concerns. In these spaces he kept the contact of reflection on his production. The artist had a very close relationship with the raw material of his works. He also used other natural materials for his production, such as wood and clay.
