The Sunday School Union of the Methodist Episcopal Church announced the publication of a series of Miscellaneous tracts in 1846; see Methodist quarterly review, v. 28, third series, v. 6 (1846), p. 71. By 1851, it announced a series of Miscellaneous tracts for children in 48 mo., put up in three packages, see Catalogue of the Sunday-school publications and tracts of the Methodist Episcopal Church (1851), p. 14."
