Summary
Electronic reproduction of Mass Observation material collected during the 1945, 1950, 1951 and 1955 election campaigns in Britain. For the 1945 and 1950 campaigns, there are reports on attitudes towards issues and their presentation by the parties, notes on election meetings and campaign publicity, and related ephemera. The 1951 and 1955 material is less substantial, consisting mainly of statistical analyses, although Churchill's resignation in 1955 is covered.
