Script: Nasta'līq and ta'līq in two hands.
Decoration: Illuminated headpiece and text frames throughout, rubrication.
Binding: Flap binding, gold-tooled inlaid central mandorla with pendants on covers and gold-tooled inlaid central mandorla on flap, gold-tooled frames over covers and flap, rebacked. Manuscript was rebound, with trimming of marginalia.
Contemporary foliation, with modern f. 2a numbered 1, f. 3a numbered 2, and so on.
Contemporary annotations (f. 1a) including prayers in Arabic, poetry excerpts, title and author notes. Unread note in unidentified modern hand (f. 1a).

Illuminated manuscript, on paper, of Kınalı-zade Hasan Çelebi's Tez̲kire-i Ḥasan Çelebi, a biographical dictionary of notable Ottoman poets in three parts. Part I contains the poet sultans Murad II, Mehmed the Conqueror, Bayezid II, Selim I, Suleiman the Magnificent, and Selim II; part II, the princes Korkut, Cem, Mustafa, Mehmed, and Bayezid; and part III, additional poets in alphabetical order.
