Summary
Typescript, carbon copy, of thesis comparing the socioeconomic factors of two groups of adult Black men, from the east and west sides of Los Angeles, who between the years of 1949 and 1954 were on probation for criminal offenses. Carlstrand investigates the impact of geography, socioeconomic differences, and family background on the types and frequency of the criminal offenses committed. Stapled with cloth tape over spine.
