Summary
June 24, 1793, letter from Eaton to his friend, Vermont jurist Stephen Jacob, regarding the intentions of the British and Indians on the northwestern frontier. Eaton speculates on reasons for the delay of the American-Indian conference (originally scheduled to meet in Sandusky in the spring) and questions the English intent to provoke the U.S. into war with the Indians.
