Summary
Resolution of Oct. 3, 1699 by the assembly of deputies representing Québec, Montr al, and Trois Rivi res, convened in the Ch teau de St. Louis in Québec, to send deputies D Auteuil, Juchereau, and Pascaud to France to obtain control of the beaver trade for the colony, the Canadians having rejected the reduced price scale for beaver suggested by the fermiers of the Domaine d Occident who held a monopoly on purchasing the pelts.
