Script: Gothic textualis.
Decoration: large historiated and decorated initials with gold details.
Binding: original binding in white pigskin. Corner mounts are missing, but clasps and straps present. Has 14 leather tabs.
Paginated 1-42, then 6 pages unpaginated, then paginated 43-139 in early modern pen, paginated 140-171 in modern pencil, then 27 unpaginated, one blank flyleaf.

Formerly owned by St. Stephen's Monastery in Würzburg, Germany. Formerly part of the Phillipps collection (Phillipps MS 680), which was originally 2 volumes. Formerly owned by Otto Ege (Ege 549.1983). Manuscript volume was on deposit with the Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA); inventory number on front flyleaf: TR 12828/44. Purchased from John M. Freudenheim, Tom Freudenheim, Jo Freudenheim, Susan Core, Richard Core, and Michael Frisch, via JSJT Holdings, LLC, 2015-2018, with Edwin J. Beinecke Book Fund, Herman W. Liebert Book Fund, and the John W. Corwith Memorial Fund.

Summary
Manuscript on parchment and paper, in unidentified hand, of a choir psalter (ff. 1-144). Includes also canticles (ff. 145-201), index (f. 202), common of Saints and hymns for Lauds (ff. 203-216), Dedication of the Church (ff. 217-219), hymns for special saints (ff. 219-224), added texts with music (ff. 225-226). The manuscript has been substantially altered by 18th century additions replacing the original 15th century leaves.
