The legacy of one of the most outstanding artists and professors of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile, Carlos Ortúzar (1932-1985), who worked at this institution between 1967-1973, generated a joint work with the Editorial of the Department of Visual Arts of the University of Chile and the support of the artist's family, which has materialized in this book that covers the different temporalities of the artist's career that goes from the beginning of the sixties to the first half of the 80s. The research included a documentary research that transcends his own archive, which has made it possible to develop a correlation between the Carlos Ortúzar collection and other archives, among which are: the Archive MAC, the Archive Nemesio Antúnez, the Archive of the Library of the MNBA and the National Library Archive. The book is composed of six texts written by artistis and academics.
