Summary
Céu doesn't fit in any box, and that's perfect. Her 2005 self-titled debut album *CéU* propelled her to the forefront of the international music scene and a year after, Herbie Hancock invited her to perform the song "Tempo de Amor" by Baden Powell and Vinícius de Moraes in a duo. She performs here in 2017 at the Moods Club, one year after the release of her latest album *Tropix*, whose musical direction was entrusted to Frenchman Hervé Salters, aka General Elektriks. Her voice touches and caresses: it is soft, smooth and powerful at the same time. The diversity and subtlety of her vocal range bewitches her audiences. On some tracks, synthetic and psychedelic pop resounds, on others, soul with the scent of choro: here is a concert with cosmopolitan flavours, a multicultural sound that comes straight from Brazil. **Anaïs Christidis Guillemard**.
