Biographical / Historical Note
Nor Aida Abdul Rahman is an Associate Professor at University Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and currently served as a Head of Aviation Management at University Kuala Lumpur, Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology, in Subang, Selangor, Malaysia. She has worked as internal and external trainer in management, supply chain, Halal logistics and postgraduate research. Her research work has appeared in several reputable academic journals such as Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Research and Journal of Humanitarian logistics and supply chain, Journal of Islamic Marketing and others. She has also published a number of book chapter and refereed conference proceedings, and part of the editorial team of book project with Routledge. She is a panel of WG in MS2400 Halal Supply Chain standard & TC10 for Halal supply chain standard (SMIIC). She earned PhD degree in Management (supply chain management) from Brunel University, London, UK. She is also serving as Academic Advisor in college, a chartered member for Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Malaysia (CILTM), HRDF Certified Trainer, Chairman (Academic Committee) for Malaysian Association of Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain Schools (MyATLAS), Vice President (Research Journal) for Institute for Research in Management and Engineering UK (INRME), JAKIM Halal Certified Trainer, UniKL Halal Professional Board and a member of Academy of Marketing, UK. Azizul Hassan is a member of the Tourism Consultants Network of the UK Tourism Society. Dr. Hassan has been working for the tourism industry as a consultant, academic, and researcher for over 20 years. His research interest areas are technology-supported marketing for tourism and hospitality, immersive technology applications in the tourism and hospitality industry, and technology-influenced marketing suggestions for sustainable tourism and hospitality industry in developing countries. Dr. Hassan has authored over 150 articles and book chapters in leading tourism outlets. He is also part of the editorial team of 25 book projects, andis a regular reviewer of a number of international journals. Zawiah Abdul Majid is a Senior Lecturer at University Kuala Lumpur & served as Head of Teknoputra, International, Industrial & Institutional Partnerships (3IP) UniKL Business School. She has twenty years' experience teaching various courses such as Logistics, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management. Currently, she is a Fellow at The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), Woman in Logistics & Transport (WiLAT) Global Vice Chairperson (GVC) Southeast Asia and founder of WiLAT Malaysia. She has more than 30 years' experience in logistics industry & currently pursuing her doctorate in Halal Supply Chain. She is a panel of WG in MS2400 Halal Supply Chain for DSM & TC10 for SMIIC, Istanbul, Turkey. Chairman of National Competency Standard (NCS) for Halal Logistics under MOHR, HDC & JPK. A certified Halal Professional Board trainer endorsed by JAKIM.
