Includes footage of Chinese and Burmese delegates attending the 2nd meeting of the joint boundary committee at Peking's Great Hall of the People from July 23rd to August 2nd 1960; the treatment of patients at Peking's health resort for pulmonary tuberculosis; children in rural areas learning academic subjects alongside practical skills in agricultural work; the programme of encouraging manual workers to study design techniques at the Shanghai Machine Tool Plant; three young men complete a 53 mile river swim in 15 hours.
