The catalog exists in two editions with the same t.p.; entries are listed in same order but in the variant the text is more compressed. In this edition, the vignette above the title "A Catalogue" is lacking, allowing for entries no. 1-8 to be listed on p. 3. On the variant, a vignette appears both above and below the title "A Catalogue" which only allows room for entries no. 1-3 on p. 3.
Provenance
Formerly owned by Algernon Graves with his armorial bookplate. From Reginald Grundy to Rimell to W.S. Lewis, August 1939, with the book label with crest and motto of the Grundy family annotated with the no. "2606.C".
